RRSP Our I.A.T.S.E. Canadian Retirement Plan is sponsored by I.A.T.S.E. and administered by Great-West Life Assurance Company. The plan consists of two parts; the Registered Retirement Savings Plan and the Non-Registered Savings Plan. GWL offers a wide range in investment options including 5 Portfolio Funds, a Money Market Fund, a 5 Year Guaranteed Investment Fund and a Socially Responsible Balanced Fund. Members and employers can contribute up to equal amounts to the plan as a deduction directly through payroll and members may also make voluntary contributions. You can get more information about Great-West Life online at http://www.ceirp.ca For Members: As a member of I.A.T.S.E local 828, to find out what the rates from each shop are: please look under the "Rates" section under the Main Menu to find out the RRSP employer contributions and RRSP employees deductions. Not all RRSP rates are same and not all shops have a RRSP Plan. For Non-Members: As a permit with I.A.T.S.E local 828, RRSP money will be deducted from your pay cheques. However, not all employers with local 828 have an RRSP Plan for permit workers. As of the spring of 2008, Great Lakes Scenic Studios, Paragon Innovation Group Inc and Hamilton Scenic Specialty no longer give permits RRSP’s. The money will be returned to you annually to the address on record. Please look at the Rates section under the main Menu for further details. |
